Summer Reading Program 2016


Elbridge Free Library kicks off their Summer Reading Program 2016.  The program is for children ages 3 – 18 and begins Monday, June 27 and ends Wednesday, August 17.   For every book read, children will earn one raffle ticket to be eligible to win age appropriate prizes.  All raffle tickets must be turned in by Friday, August 12.
 
Story times will be held Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.  July 6 – Aug 17.
 
Special Wednesday evening programs are planned beginning at 6:30pm.
 
July  6                  Zoo To You
 
July 13                 The MOST   Ready, Set, Spin!   Keep moving!  The why and how of play with an interactive demonstration.
 
July 20                 Jeff the Magic Man.   Follow Jeff on a fun journey through Magical Storyland.  
 
July 27                 Kids Yoga with Mary Hagemann.  Build strength, flexibility, balance and concentration using yoga in a kid-friendly manner.
 
Aug  3                  Kindred Kingdoms.  Learn the differences between a variety of birds of prey.  You will even get to meet a few up close.
 
Aug 10                Puppets with Pizazz.   “The Three MillienGoats Buff”
 
Aug 17                The Checkers Show.  Comedy magic with music, games and so much more.        
 
Overdue fines may be waived on a child’s card if the child reads 5 books and completes form available from Elbridge Free Library.  Only overdue fines posted before June 27 are eligible.

Story Hour

Story hour with Miss Joan will begin Wednesday, September 10th at  10:00 AM.  Children ages 2 and up are welcome. Please call the library for more information.
