Village Yard Sales

Elbridge yard sales will be held Saturday, July 8 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  The library will be selling used books, plants, homemade doughnuts at 9:00 am, and hotdogs and cold drinks at noon.

Call Elbridge Free Library at 689-7111 or stop by to reserve your sale location. (Permits $5.00)

Donations of plants are being accepted at the library for resale at the garage sale.

Summer Reading 2017

Elbridge Free Library kicks off their Summer Reading Program 2017.  The program is for children ages 3-18 and begins Monday, June 26 and ends Wednesday, August 16.  For every book read, children will earn one raffle ticket to be eligible to win age appropriate prizes.  All raffle tickets must be turned in by Friday, August 11.  
Story times will be held Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. July 5 – August 16. 

Special Wednesday evening programs are planned for 6:30p.m. as follows:

July 5 – Puppets with Pizazz. 
Nancy Sander performs “Rumpelstiltskin”.  Audience participation in helping to name a new puppy. 

July 12--  Jeff the Magic Man. 
Storytelling, balloon puppetry and a whimsical personality, See what amazing things you can do with balloons.

July 19-- David Moreland
Blend magic, puppetry, comedy, and audience participation, and include several routines– starring children from the audience! 

July 26 – Zoo to You
Live animals such as birds, reptiles, and some of the animals may be touchable.

Aug 2 -- Gravitational Bull
David and Kyle Fultz, a Father/Son team of comedy and juggling with audience participation, of course.

Aug 9 --  Build some common machines and find out how people get energy from the wind, sun, water, and the world around us.  Interactive demonstrations on scientific discovery!

Aug 16 – Mike Carter
Drawing, caricatures, and final summer reading party with prizes.
